Mine are as bellow:
Elizabeth Bennet in Pride & Prejudice from Jane Austen’s book.
Spirited. Enjoys spending time on her own. Open mindedness. Self discovery. Involve feeling in making decisions. Warmed-hearted and kind. Strong. Intelligent. Tends to focus and steadfast in her opinions. careful in choosing love and dare to refuse the love that is not desired by her heart. She shows the tendency for her mind to wander
Emma Woodhouse, in Emma from Jane Austen’s book.
Spirited. Intelligent. Compassionate to the poor. Loving. Patience. Have a stance that will remain the choice of her heart although she flirts with other man when she has someone in her heart.
Which characters are yours?
Please don’t forget to recommend and upvote this topic.
Thank you,
Murn
Sandra Bullock’s character from Miss Congeniality. I’m unpolished and rough around the edges but I “clean up well.” I saw this movie with my mom, and she kept looking at me saying, “Who does that remind you of?”
Not that I am an FBI agent but this movie cracked me up.

Recommended.
I suppose… Erin Brockovich.
Part of my work is advocacy work.. and so closest style character I suppose I can relate to.
Thanks, Kiz,
That is an inspiring character.
I like her too and I watched her movie. Julia Roberts played her very well.
She won the case although her lack of formal education in law and is a legal clerk.
Smart woman.
Thus is my daily life https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_qjXQZ-4jAo
Funny clips, RAD_MAX…:))
Mario Adorf in Kir Royal as Generaldirektor Heinrich Haffenloher.
Such an amiable guy and he looks as good as I do in nothing but a bathrobe.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdQyQLs2THM
I didn’t watch that movie but that sounds great. Almost all his pics are either in bathrobe or is in bathtub. 😉
Sara Deever/Charlize Theron from ‘Sweet November’ hits the bullseye.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wcj4gn4NXik
She is lovely and I like her character too.
Sadly she is that ill.

I’m sorry, but I’m going to have to “PASS” on this one, because I just don’t know how to give an honest answer to this one.
Hi Digger,
That’s more than enough….:)))
Enjoy weekend.
Thanks a lot, and the same to you. BTW, and I know that I’m asking a lot from you, but perhaps you could figure out a film character that best describes me and my personality. I realize that we’re only just communicating with each other, but maybe if you come up with some questions for me to answer that will tell you what I’m like exactly, then maybe that will help you in your research. How does all of this sound to you, Murn?
Okay,
Will try to look it up.
But I am thinking Tom Hank in Forrest Gump. I almost posted about this movie yesterday.
LOL! Thanks a bunch, Murn. That isn’t such a bad first choice. I like Tom Hanks a lot, and while I don’t consider myself a dummy like his character, “FORREST GUMP” was, I have had some trouble remembering things and focusing on little things as of late, but that’s only because I’m getting older now(I just turn ’50’ this year).
Anyways, just keep coming up with other names to go with Tom Hanks, alrighty-roo? Ask around the site to people who know me, and get their opinions on what I’m like, and maybe that will help you determine what movie characters I would remind you of, okie-dokie?
i remember a Hanks movie i saw 2004 it wasnt so great strange coincidence how i remembered a character’s name in that movie her name was Mountain girl she was like a big outdoorsey type lady , i saw that name “mountain girl” around a month ago as someoen’s nickname on GAB ( place similar to disqus) anyways its an ok movie if your into comedies https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51EM2aMIydL._SY445_.jpg
If Mr Rodgers would have had a dark sense of humor … we would have been the same person …. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/6210770812c07e3204ac88331de7ffb9a26015f793adb6cb79e9be08043348fe.png
Stan….=DD
I don’t believe you are that thin.
thinner 🙂
Thinner from having breakfast with weed salad everyday?
I usually have coffee with my weed in the morning 🙂
I believe that’s what makes you get thinner everyday….haha
Happy weekend, Stan.
you to murn
Maybe Professor Hulk?
Ha! Don’t I wish.
You’ll have green blood then
How about this since I’m almost always on a nighttime schedule…

Or maybe…

That’s much better than Vampire….hehe
Blade is half-vampire. He is a daywalker. The best of both worlds, all their strengths with none of their weaknesses.
See the link below The Batman. 😉
Hey, Josh,
Are you there?
I kept missing you all
I am here. I am trying to publish a new thread. I think it may have worked. LOL
I watched the Blade and I liked it.
So that’s you with your martial art…:))
https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/9946d3fca3e5d44ad6d0e4a78a71616b43d68a22fc349dca0891514229b8825d.jpg
Yaaas, girl! I want to be able to kick butt like that.
Batman is no slouch when it comes to martial arts. I’d be so gifted to have the skills of both The Batman and Blade.
I’m like a hybrid because I’m a lonewolf, yet I’m sympathetic/empathetic.
So I’d say Will Smith in Pursuit of happiness and The Punisher/Wolverine
I resonates best with WOKE characters who are loners, but have a caring nature to them.
Cool. Based on our interaction, I can see that. 🙂
I can sense you are all those…..
Well, Logan is a badass. I like that a lot and can relate.
Likewise and one of my favorite modern films.
Well, Logan is a badass. I like that a lot and can relate.
easy…..Archie Bunker
A veteran and a family man…:))
👍 my favorite (seriously ) !
Frodo Baggins of The Lord of the Rings resonates with me. Taking up quests with a fellowship of men. Winning against the odds. Taking a good share of injuries, but still standing tall.
That’s is awesome, this is what I personally take about Frodo Baggins that being small doesn’t mean you cannot carry out a big task, eradicate all the obstacles and complete the task perfectly. What matters is how we take the responsibility.
Arnold Cunnignham.
Scout in “To Kill a Mocking Bird” resonates most with me.
She is very tomboy…=D
A tomboy with chutzpah.
Yes, a bit and she is idealistic.
In the book, she got into a bit of trouble with her school teacher because she learned her English from Calpurnia.
Her English accent was very different.
You must know the details more from the book.
It’s quite a humorous film and very classic.
I watched it last night. Afterwards Capote…
I don’t think I can. I love bugs bunny. Does that count?
I’m drawing a blank, but I wanted to post.
Better than nothing.
How are you, Jay?
Doing well. You?
I would say four characters, or rather a mix of the four.
No 1 – Jack Lemmon and Walter Mattheau in ‘Grumpy Old Men’, for obvious reasons.
No 2 – Because of my acute interest in geology, archaeology and adventure, Indiana Jones, with a lot of ‘nots, – Not so handsome, not so courageous, not so wealthy and not so….lucky.
No 3 – Jack Nicholson (in The Shining) because I don’t have to act to be insane….Lol
Good way to sum up as one character would not normally be enough to describe our personality. And those are great characters. I watched all The Indiana Jones series and The Shining. I like Jack Torrance in The Shining. There was a bit funny thing about Indiana Jones that he picked his nickname from his dog name.
In which case we’ve got another characteristic to share. DOG! I did consider including Mel Gibson’s Road Warrior, because of the dog.
Thank you for your comment.
Hi Palapie,
Yes, make a new topic to share about the DOG and Max in Mad Max 2.
I watched that movie too, Mel Gibson was still young.
Another great movie about Dog is the Adventure of Rin Tin Tin; Hachiko, Marly and Me.
There are so many Dogs characters that we can learn from them.
BTW, that dog in your avatar is a very good looking dog, looks like a Labrador to me. He looks a very happy Dog. I feel very happy when looking at a happy dog or a happy cat.
I am the one should thank you for your contribution to this site.
I hope you enjoy the interaction on here.
Hi Murn,
Thank you for the pleasant comment. And yes, the dog in my Avatar is a Labrador.I had 4 that passed away over the years. I am at no 5 and 6 currently. They have been voted the no 1 dog in the USA for more than 25 consecutive years already. Impressive!
https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/4cecef7c8f79db519c5ace4fe5d61d25697ddb05f565816f5f40112933650e7e.jpg
I absolute love it on your channel. I’m sure i will still make many friends here.
Hi there, Palapie.
He is so good looking and clean, looks very well cared.
They are smart dogs, here some of them are trained for K-9.
And they are far more resistant to illness than Golden retrievers.
I had Labs long time ago but we had to give her up at 6 months old to a good friend for a better care since we traveled a lot that time. I cried for 3 days for trying to let her go.
This is how she looked like when she was about 2 months old. We named her Sammy because she behaved like a male dog…:))
I am glad you like for being here, hope you meet some good friends who are comfortable to get along with.
Sorry for taking so long to get back.
Have a lovely weekend…:))

Awww. . . so cute. I bet you cried when you had to let her go.
BTW The one above is a beautiful animal but it is not mine. It is just a beautiful picture.
I cried for 3 days and mourned for weeks and when one day we visited her at friend’s house, she didn’t stop barking wanted to go with us as we left the house. It was hard. I will want to have it again next time when I retire and have time for them. I have a cat now. Cats are more independent, but dogs are more about ‘us’.
Okay, but labs look almost alike so yours mustn’t be much different than that pic. Our Sammy as she grew up, she had a bit longer type face. 😉
As a matter of fact my one (male) looks almost exactly like the one in the picture. The other one (female) are a little bit smaller and of a lighter color. I do have some pictures of them somewhere, I just don’t know where…Lol. I will post them as soon as I can find them.
If you love dogs as I do I can only imagine how you feel when you see Sammy.
Only One. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-xrKE9rClg
That’s very adventurous….awesome.
Matthew Quigley, just a man, much like any other. *smile
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYH3f2-EnQw
His special talent and accuracy, he’s different.
Reg Dunlop/Paul Neumann in Slap Shot
Because oddly, me can Skate
You’re a hockey player? Well then, perfect choice. ‘Slap Shot’ is hands down the best movie about ice. As figure skaters, we had no good flicks- 100% cornball.
This is the only clip I can think of, that’s clean enough to post here- haha. Such a funny movie:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6oyxLFD2IIw
Haha….that’s super clean…=D
Hey there…miss you. *Hugs

Vince Vaughn from Old School mixed with Eastwood from Gran Torino.
Sounds great. Those are great actors.
How do their characters describe your personality?
Sandra Bullock, and Geena Davis.😊
http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=aEBLrCGhTVM
http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=k5Xkb4lyRKQ
I like Sandra Bullock too.
In which character does she describe your unique personality?
In the video clip😊
Wow… that’s a tough woman.
I thought you would choose a character riding a horse..:))
😁riding horses is always included, heh heh….I forgot.
I know right.
But those ladies are tough, and under cover agents? =D
It’s mostly the personality, and physical traits that I had in mind.
I remember having to wear my first dress for the first day of 1rst grade.
I thought the world was ending.😅
So you were tomboyish =D
Very much so, until parents sent us to prepatory ladies school.
Most parents did this in those days, around the 6th grade.
Did living in the farm have anything to do with girls being tomboy?
I think so. The environment was harsh farmland near the south coast. Parents raised longhorn cattle. Grandparents moved from Celciascu Louisiana to Texas.
We were required to help during the summer with feeding, branding, shots, and the caring for the fields. Drove the first tractor standing up in front of the wheel because the seat was too high to reach the pedals.
That life sounded very adventurous, exciting and manly.
No wonder you were tomboy, became a professional horseman out of habit from childhood. Very nice story. Getting to know you more. Thank you, Ribbey…heheh.
I watched the first movie but missed the second one.
good morning Ribbey

Hi Murn, how’s it going. I’ve often been thought of Katy Perry, who I vaguely know who she is. I really don’t know of a film character. Maybe it has to be the girl in Benny & Joon. But not the mental issues 🙂
Writings ongoing here and baby has been getting over a stomach bug. It’s been a crazy week.
I especially like some of the older movies so I can see a young Tom Cruise or Val Kilmer etc. Have a great evening!
Hey there, Laura.
So good to see you.
I left here a bit early last night and missed this comment.
Me too, a bit tough with time for here, but I’ll have more tomorrow and Sunday.
Katty Perry is admiring, she worked and tried really hard to be what she is today. And I like many of her songs too. She is an artist so it’s fine, lets make a special exception for you, it doesn’t have to be a film character…:))
You’d always be hectic and busy with your kids and I am sorry to hear that. I hope your baby is fine now?
Wow… I like Val Kilmer and Tom Cruise too. I watched many of their movies.
We’ll have much to talk when we have time to post their movies.
I haven’t been to your site. Will check in there soon.
