Someone who cares about me, someone I respect, shared me this video today, reminded me about embracing the hate. I don’t think I have anyone to hate, not here, not in real life, nor do I have anything I hate to do, maybe I have someone hates me, I don’t know.
But this is not talking about the haters or about us hating someone or us having things we hate to do.
This is talking about making the hate and the hatters to motivate us to do better or about embracing the hatters with love and compassion to build loving and compassionate relationship.
A very motivating video
1. Please watch it and share us what you think
2. Do you agree about embracing the hates instead?
3. Or you can share your way of how to embrace the hate.
Please don’t forget to recommend and to upvote this topic.
Thank you,
Murn
How about this one?

Hey, Digger. I love your videos, but remember, no politics.
Gotcha, dude.
Thank you, Josh.
Great job.
Trying to be firm but fair. Thanks.
Yess, I do agree, Bro.
Morning..
I hope you had a good sleep or were you being a vampire?
I was out cold. I sleep so much that I have to go to bed way early to make daytime appointments. This evening will be no different. I am meeting family in the suburbs tomorrow. That means an early bedtime again tonight.
Does anyone here remember seeing this on T.V.?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnDgZuGIhHs
I couldn’t watch the video attached to this thread, because whoever created it wants us to join something and wants us to pay to watch the whole thing, and I’m afraid that I can’t any of that. You see, my mom and dad have “power-of-attorney” over my finances, and they don’t want me making foolish investments or foolish donations or anything like that, if you get my drift.
I have read that there is a fine line between love and hate. I suppose it is as ying/yang – one is not possible without the other. A natural balance.
Good morning to you, Mariam…:))
It’s my evening here.
I found this, and it’s true:
“They are worlds apart, and yet some argue there is a thin line, meaning you can dive between the two rather fast. … If you loved someone, you have high expectations for them. Whenever they disappoint you, you feel more let down than you would if the person was someone you didn’t love.”

hiii goood morning Murn im doing ok i just cooked some foods and ate im fixin to go shopping i love that store im going to everything in the store costs $1 each ! ( the dollar tree ! )
I miss talking with you
Murn, how about the traditional American view on hate? Along with love, hate is an emotion, and thus something intensely personal, and nobody else’s business. Nothing smacks more of totalitarianism than judging others by their emotions rather than their actions.
Unless acted upon, hatred at most harms the hater, which makes this emotion even more personal. This is why we should judge others by their actions rather than their emotions. After all, if I hate somebody, and make a successful effort to treat that person well, does my hatred really matter? Should I not be commended for putting my personal feelings aside and doing the right thing?
Hello there, Gentleman.
Good morning….:)
I learn from that view now.
I have the same way for putting the personal feeling aside and try to embrace the hater rather than to hate them.
A good morning to you too, Miss Murn.
When I was in the USN, they defined professionalism as putting aside your personal feelings to perform as we should. Is this not all that should really matter to others?
That should really matter to others. Unfortunately, some women like me still involve feelings in making decision, even though the decision was something rather crucial.
What I have in mind is Nietzsche’s distinction that there is no moral merit in a lion behaving like a lion or a lamb that behaves like a lamb. Merit is where the lion chooses to behave like the lamb. So, I do admire people who can treat those they hate righteously even if I agree with you that I don’t wish to hate or be hated.
I would try my best to love the haters but if they can’t be loved, I will not hate them, I will only stay away from them so they cannot vent their hatred.

Wow….where is that Dear George?
Pubs are like cultural fingerprints in England. Every one of them is different but at the same time, they all tell a story of what the country’s about. Some of them are great, some of them are terrible. Some are new, some are incredibly old.

None are perfect, yet all are deserving of love. Some relax into the process of mastering self-love. Their heart, like a pitcher, becomes full. One day they may come upon another who isn’t so handy. Their empty pitcher emanates black hatred. Embrace them, heart to heart, and pour your pitcher into theirs. When finished, both hearts are found to be full of love. What is the blessing which helps this happen?
Sincerity.

So much wisdom in there.
Thank you for the wonderful reminder.
With sincerity, I hope the other pitcher will be full with love sooner than later. Amen
Amen indeed…time will tell, and I’m a man blessed with patience.
Thank you for the continued support, Murni….and you’ve some mail. *hug
You are so much inspiring, Gent.
And thank you for that…
Checking it soon. *Hugs
Expectations come from all places, and sadly, it’s not always ok to ignore them. Sometimes we have to listen to those people because we owe them. Take parents, for example, who may have dedicated years of their lives to raise us, and spent fortunes trying to get us on safe paths. They won’t want us to take risks, because they won’t want all that work and money to go to waste.
As much as people like to deny it, not everyone who throws everything into their dreams makes it. Betraying the wishes of parents and risking it all to chase a dream takes bravery that not everyone should be expected to have.
Hey Roach,
Well said brother. You sound to be a great son to remind us about parent’s sacrifice for their children.
Their love for us is unconditional. I wish I could make them happier while they lived. Now I can only pray for them for a better place in the afterlife
Hi Murn, thank you.
I am sure you made them very happy, and knowing they are still in your thoughts assures me you’ve always been good to them. It’s a wonderful thing that you believe, even if sadly I can’t convince myself to believe it also. I can, at least, try to maintain the knowledge that those I have lost live on in my memories.
Hey there, Bro.
I made them a little happy, not that much but that time it was good, best I ever did.
It is the only way to have those we have lost live on in our memory.
How have you been, still busy?
Yes, very busy at the moment. Work, recording, plus I’m (re)learning to drive. My writing is going very well at the moment – I’ve written 20k words of my new book already. Today alone I wrote just under a thousand words, which is a lot by my standards. Sorry I haven’t posted here in a while. I’ll try to come up with a topic soon.
Hope you’re well too. 😊
Morning Roach,
That’s what I thought, work and your music that you’ve been focusing on more.
But drive? I thought you drive already…:))
I am glad to hear about your book, I know you don’t have deadline of when to have it published but I hope soon.
I’ve been well and exciting to get ready for the trip. Thanks
Sorry for the late response. I did learn to drive a few years ago when I was 19, but I had to go to uni before I could take my test. So now I have to relearn, and do my theory again which is a bit annoying.
Sorry, I can’t remember if you told me already but where is it you’re going?
That’s great, Roach.
I’m sure you are a fast learner, you’ll be a good driver very soon.
EU…you are right I have not mentioned this to you, sorry. …:))
I hope North Europe will follow soon, hopefully next year or next two years….
hmmm…..basically march to the beat of your own drum….some can, some can not….it goes deeper into the psychological make up, that your are….some are indeed leaders, and some are followers…but remember there are no leaders w/o followers….pursue your ideals, but understand what they are in truth, and what is required to get there, but don’t forget, there are also branches on the path you walk, and the is no rule that says you can’t explore them too….
http://img.picturequotes.com/2/3/2273/i-dont-lead-nor-follow-i-make-my-own-path-quote-1.jpg
in reality at some point in time we do both, but sometimes don’t know it….
Great decision.
Hey Suri,
Miss you.

1. I suppose that there is a place for that, and if some find the information and the angry tone useful, that is good. But the video itself is not a real depiction of the problem or solution. Younger people generally feel anxious and fearful, and feel isolated and powerless, because they are isolated and they are powerless because they are alone.
I see abandonment issues and withdrawal of affection used as discipline as root causes to be addressed if peple want to, as the video suggests, work on themselves. . Opinions vary.
2. There is a place for embracing the issue with the most energy. It is not an end point.
3. Motivation is good if there is a direction and goals and objectives. pushing people to try harder without defining what they doing seems similar to the idea that if you work hard and are competitive you will be rewarded in some magical way.
I agree about most of what you posted. The problem with those who hate is much more complex.
It would be almost impossible to retrain humans in the world as it is. The change would have to begin at birth. 🤷♀️
It’s interesting and somewhat motivational, but I fail to see what this has to do with hatred.

Yep, grandpa lived on bacon and eggs and two packs of Winston cigarettes every day (always remember: Winston tastes good like a cigarette should!). The doctors warned him that his ways would kill him if he didn’t change, and they were right. Grandpa died from clogged arteries and emphysema a week before his ninety-ninth birthday.
(BTW, this is a true story!)
wow thats a really long life your grandfather had ! seems like he would activate alot like ive read the obituaries daily for the past 10+years seems like folks who lived in rural areas lived a longer life since they must activate physically alot living in rural area so i see your grandfather working hard everyday outside which is really good for both physical and mental health
next wednesday it’ll be 1 month with NO cigarettes for me i started smoking when i was 15 (i’ll be 25 in dec) i smoked around 1/2 – 3/4 pack a day usually around 1 pack if i was having a drink that day , i would smoke marlboro red 100s i tried e cigs they really didnt cut it for me so i went back to tobacco ciggys sometimes i would buy a pack of pall mall red 100s since i would often be smoking while going to stores and such and sometimes some transients would bum a smoke from me so i would get out 2-3 loosies to give them + $2 – $3 in $1s i eventaully switched to pall mall red 100s to save $ 1 month + 1 week ago i saw my doctor in houston 5 hours away ( im from corpus christi) that dr specializes in multiple sclerosis which i was diagnosed with in emergency room 6/ 2018 i had to resign from my job after i was hospitalized since i had alot alot of trouble walking i walked similar to someone who is very intoxicated from alcohol walks luckily i was approved for SSI disability benefits WITHOUT A LAWYER so i use that now $ to live on anyways the dr in houston told me i really needed to quit smoking since that makes MS progress more and he mentioned to me about switching my meds to a more agressive method for advanced cases called infusions it must be very very strong since only 2-3 infusions a year are needed vs 3 injections a week im currently on ,
pfft i have no idea WHY i would still smoke after i got sick and on meds i mean something with having MS or the meds i take made me feel ZERO nicotine affects on cigaretaes i mean haha it felt like i was smoking a cheap cheap cheap made in korea cigarete that has zero nicotine affects on it ! wow in just 1 month i feel a difference i can feel my legs and arms before i had neuropathy (numbness & tingling) from knee caps to toes and from forearms to finger tips ! my blood pressure and pulse are normal now too !
Miss Angel, a few thoughts:
The reason vaping didn’t cut it is that tobacco is a cocktail of various natural MAO inhibitors (i.e., natural antidepressants and mood enhancers); vaping straight nicotine has none of this.
Tobacco is only bad for the health when smoked. It has now been demonstrated time and again that oral and nasal tobacco have no deleterious effects on health.
I have neuropathy, and permanent damage from it, myself. The reason is that I had untreated celiac and diabetes for years. It is normally caused by auto-immune problems.
im sorry to hear about your difficult health sir , i read about celiac it might help to drink a 8oz cup of aloe vera juice each day mom does this since she used to have frequent stomach problems and now shes able to eat spicey foods i like to cook its $3.25 for a 1 quart bottle of aloe vera juice at HEB or $7.50 for a 1 gallon bottle it doesnt taste so bad to me it tastes like water thats sat in a cup a few days just refridgerate the aloe vera juice bottle after openeing
i remember awhile back i talked to a very old neighbor named roy he was 82 at the time i would see him walk EVERYDAY to collect empty discarded aluminum cans at the time i had a real bad problem with alcohol (i’d drink 3-4 x a week 8-12 12oz budweisers or busch cans each time ) i saved alot of empty beer cans to give to roy he was thankfull for this and we talked a lil while i was like WOW when he told me he walked 4 miles each day to collect cans , we talked about health he said he drank apple cidar vinegar 1 table spoon of it in a cup of water each day , i tried that remedy a few months later i read about it and i saw that the brand bragg was the best of the best for use it tastes horrible so i put the table spoon of the ACV in a 2 oz cup of water and drank it like a shot of liquor . and WOW around 20 minutes later my feet & arms felt normal the neuropathy was GONE i felt as good as i did after a 1 hour workout that great feeling with no neuropathy and felt well all over lasted ALL DAY too i tried it another time and WOW that ACV is very good to drink if you have a plugged up nose as well . also try to agressivly massage area where neuropathy / numbness / tingling are presant at that seems to help me
sir this might help also i was told by dr in houston to take 4000 mg of vitamin D each day and 1 COQ10 vitamin both of those are good for immune system
i really really hope this helps you , God blessyou ,
Katie ( babyangel)
haha do you know that Dunny means toilet in the UK ? (your nickname) https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/70032080f7f2015c1c3eb704a99015d7d61e8620d6eb408517475996999c4d42.jpg
Dunnyveg is the name of my family’s castle on Islay in Scotland. Since that castle had a dock so ships could load and unload directly into the castle, it means castle for ships.
My family lost the castle in the early 17C, were ethnically cleansed from the Hebrides, and most of us went to the Ulster Plantation. One of my ancestors thought this was unacceptable and decided he’d live free or die, and holed up at Dunnyveg. In connivance with the Scots, the English brought in siege equipment and brought the castle down on his head. I use the name because I find his courage inspiring.
As for aloe, I’m allergic to it. What I use to soothe my gut is raw sauer kraut or kombucha tea.
sir , earlier i read about that celiac and saw it can cause diahhreah , i drink this herbal tea around once or twice a month ( i used to drink daily ) i drank it mostly to help improve my sleep / fall asleep since i usually sleep 4-5 hours at night then wake up in the wee hours of the morning i would drink that tea to help me sleep another 2-3 hours before i went to work i dont do that anymore since im disabled now and no longer work but that tea can help YOU since it works very very well also to help stomach health eezing nausea and diahhreah the best of the best chamomille tea that ive tried is strangely the HEB brand thats only $1 for a box of 25 tea bags ! i make my tea this way get a coffee cup fill with water place tea bag in coffee cup place in microwave 1 minute 45 seconds i let the tea bag set in cup for 20 + minutes before drinking that works wonders to feel calm and relaxed or if youvce had a stressfull day i remember awhile back i was really ticked off how i was nauseated and i couldnt drink that day i drank some of that tea and i was good to go !
*NOTE* it has to be the HEB brand chamomille tea thats the best others such as mccormic dont work as well
it feels nice sharing that with you sir God blessyou
katie
im fixin to have a nappy goodnight

Miss Angel, thanks. While I do have celiac, I don’t have the problems you mention. I am familiar with chamomile and do like it.
My favorite beverage is a mix of black and green tea with unsweetened coconut milk in it.
Sleep well; we’ll chat later…
This is happening to a lot of people and yet STILL the average checkup does not include a blood sugar test
More than a blood sugar test, standard blood work should include an A1C test. My problem was that I have both celiac and diabetes. So, during the day my blood sugar was usually normal; it goes into the stratosphere are night when such things normally aren’t tested. The A1C test would alert to this whereas a blood sugar test won’t.
My friends oldest was just diagnosed wit MS
hello Timothy , sir I have alot of hope that i’ll be ok since i read how Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto has had MS since 1997 and he seems to be able tofunction well . sir if your daughter has any spasams caused by MS theres a old old OLD remedy that works great for this drink 1 oz of pickle juice each day
the biggest problem i see with having MS is I walk similar to someone who is drunk from alcohol walks . I also have some memory problems because of MS
because of having memory problems and needing medicaid since all MS meds are outragously unaffordable i was approved SSI disability WITHOUT A LAWER , i get just $885 a month but thats good enough for me medicaid covers 100% of the $7000 a month glatirmirer acetate meds i take ( injection 3 x a week ) sir if your daughter isnt taking any meds tell her a dr recommended me to take 4000mg of vitamin D and 1 coq10 vitamin each day , i also read how cod liver oil was used in the 1930s to treat MS so i take one of those also each day .
Theres a treatment called HSCT that is in expirmental stage but it can actually CURE MS in the US theres a 60% chanse of it being successfull in 3rd world countries its a higher 90% successfull however in 3rd world countries such as a good good clinic in Monterrey Mexico called “Clinica Ruiz” (its really GOOD that folks from Europ and all over the world go there to Monterry ) but in 3rd world countries the method is kinda unethical they use FETUS stem cells on the HSCT process its similar to a 1 time dialysis process its fatal to 2 % of patients undergoing HSCT sir i recomend your daughter signs up for bluecross blue shield gold health insurance i had that a few months it covered 100% of the costs of the MYLAN glatirmirer acetate meds i take its $640 a month for that insurance . i see a neurologist in Houston that specializes in MS at the baylor college of medicine clinic he seems to be the best of the best since folks from very far away go there to see him .
i know since i have trouble walking ( balance ) i cant run & jog for exercise anymore i just like to use a push mower for exercise since i can walk fine that way . the first month i was diagnosed 6/ 2018 i took some meclizine that seemed to help alot with balance problems walking but it did make me drowsy ,
i hope this helps you sir god bless you and your family
Katie
*note* if your intrested in signing up your daughter for health insurance it has to be done before 12/2019 since you have to wait all year until 2021 if you do it after 1/2020 https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/ac7fbf701660da084fa114b7a2b9315f8336b6df7de65c407a902a349bf48873.png
can you use an electric treadmill?
yes i have one at my home but its stored in a odd location so i cant use it 🙁
I am so sorry.
My uncle Mark died last month at 64 dues to complications from rheumatoid arthritis which he suffered from for years.
Time wounds all heels Sorry Digger
Excuse me, Tim. Forgive me for correcting your grammer or whatever, but isn’t that supposed to be, “Time heals all wounds”, isn’t that what you mean? No offense, Tim, but it sounds like you’re repeating something that Hawkeye(Alan Alda) said in an episode of “M.A.S.H.”, which just happens to be one of my favorite T.V. shows, btw.
Begging your pardon, Tim, and please forgive me for correcting you, but shouldn’t that be, “Time heals all wounds”? No offense, Tim, but that phrase that you sent me sounded like one made by “HAWKEYE”(Alan Alda) in an episode of “M.A.S.H.”, you dig?
I always thought Hawkeye was a pale imitation of Groucho Marx
‘Hawkeye’ always made me bust a gut every time I watched him on “M.A.S.H.” IMHO, I think that he would have out-shined Groucho in a heartbeat. As a matter of fact, I remember this one episode where Hawkeye, in an attempt to get some R&R, pretended to act a little crazier than he usually is with Trapper John’s assistance. Once night at dinner, Hawkeye walked into the Mess Tent dressed in surgical scrubs, latex gloves and all, like he had just come out of surgery, and he had some surgical tools neatly wrapped, a bottle of ketchup, and a plate with a cooked liver on it, even thought they were serving hamburgers that evening. He proceeded to cut up the liver and eat it. And Maj. Burns asked Hawkeye where he got the liver, and Hawkeye, “From the North Korean”. I think that he was saying that they had a North Korean soldier come in with other wounded soldiers earlier, but the Korean had died during surgery, or as Hawkeye had stated, “The one that croaked”. And I suppose that Hawkeye was making everyone think that he had removed the dead North Korean’s own liver, and had it cooked and was now feeding on it, all the while saying things like, “He was very clean”, and “If you want to join me for breakfast, we can have a stack of pancreas”. And here’s the best part. When Burns came over to take a closer look at Hawkeye’s plate while he was picking up the ketchup with surgical clamps, Hawkeye really went ballistic, saying that Burns wasn’t sterile, and that he ruined his liver and they were out of North Koreans. And then he started to choke out Burns, and Trapper John nonchalantly came up and slapped Hawkeye to calm him down, and Hawkeye amusingly said, “I don’t think I needed that”. Of course, you know as well as I do that the whole thing was just an act, right? LMAO!
My Family Doctor was a MASH Surgeon in Korea he said the show was accurate, but the Nurses were not as pretty
Really? Well, Tim, it might interest you to know that Alan Alda and Jamie Farr are the only two members of the “M.A.S.H.” cast who have actually served in the Armed Forces during the Korean War.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamie_Farr
I didn’t know any of then had served in Korea. My History teacher was at Inchon
My heel is very arthritic
My Granny smoked till they told her to quit, she is still kicking ..I am still fighting that battle myself Only one pack over the last eleven days.
I was more a snuff dipper than anything else though I loved every cigarette I ever smoked, as well as all the snuff I dipped. I sure hated to have to give it up.
just a pinch between yer cheek and gum
Dipping snuff was a bit uncouth for running a library. But out here on my ranch, it’s almost expected. When the vegetation gets tinder dry the way it is now, smoking is definitely not a good idea.
And they also said “quit cigarettes, and vape instead and get hooked on 3 times the nicotine, and then we”ll pull the vape and welcome you home”.
Gotta love strategic marketing.
Native Americans had more rational tobacco consumption habits.
tobacco actually has some medicinal applications in some circumstances. [and should only be used for those.] other than that. its a very powerful insecticide, that should be used with great restraint.
did you ever see the speech where “bob dole, gop politician,” said he did not think that ciggarettes would cause cancer, and were not bad for people. so the goverment is all for big tobacco
A reporter asked Bob Dole whether he wears boxers or briefs. He replied, “Depends.”
ba da bing,, lol
It’s funny and a good point, however, no politics please.
Cigarette smokers have a life expectancy of roughly seventy years, meaning nonsmokers on average live ten years longer than smokers. Before the government quit keeping records on this matter, the vital statistics showed that homosexuals have a life expectancy of thirty-eight years, meaning normal people live over twice as long as homosexuals.
Why is it that liberals have almost outlawed cigarettes while positively celebrating the homosexuality that is almost infinitely more dangerous?
Good point.
@Dunnyveg:disqus
Nope. Just nope.
https://www.politifact.com/virginia/statements/2012/jun/07/bob-marshall/bob-marshall-says-homosexual-behavior-cuts-life-ex/
Also, please refrain from politics here. We don’t do that at MNC.
@Dunnyveg:disqus: How many more times do I have to keep telling you and everyone else in the world? LGBTQs are human beings put on this planet by God the same as the rest of us ‘imperfect’ human beings, and they deserve to exist and enjoy the rewards and freedoms that we all enjoy and take for granted, no matter what the Catholic Church says, or what any passages in the stupid Bible says, or what any fanatical religious cults say. And so, I wish that you would stop blaming them for all the troubles that are happening here in the U.S. and in the rest of the world, because they’re not all to blame for everything, just like not all Muslims were to blame for 09/11/2001, if you get my drift.
I’m going to stop this in its tracks. MNC is not a channel for politics.
I’m sorry, No-Name. You’re right. I keep forgetting that this is a fun-oriented discussion channel, just like “SHELLY & FRIENDS”, and that politics is supposed to be kept out of the loop, sort to speak. However, I don’t think that I’m the only one that needs to be reminded of that factor, if you know what I mean.
I got this. No problem. Thanks.
