“November Rain” is a power ballad by the American hard rock band Guns N’ Roses. Written by the band’s lead vocalist Axl Rose, the song was released as a single in 1992 from their third studio album, Use Your Illusion I (1991).
“November Rain” peaked at number three on the United States Billboard Hot 100 chart, making it the longest song in history to enter the top ten of that chart. It is also the third longest song to enter the Hot 100 chart (second longest at the time of its release).[2] The song reached number one on the Polish LP3 Chart, number four on the UK Singles Chart, number five on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart and the top 10 on several other music charts around the world. Since its release, the song has sold over a million copies worldwide.

That one is so fun…..💃
Never mind.
No heavy metal. I thought I liked it for about six months in the 1970’s.
I saw led zeppelin in 1975. Also, Cal-Jam 1.
1976 was a banner year for me going to concerts.
The eagles, Jackson Browne, Peter Frampton, Dan Fogelberg….Been a while,…More, but what year?
Peter Frampton was king of the world in 1976
The audience looks calm. It must be just before the album was released

Wow , that’s a full house ! The bell bottoms !
I posted an additional reply to you; it’s in *pending* ,, godsh forbid.
I saw all was released.
I have put you on white list again.
Sorry for what the auto filtering did…=D
When I was 9, we were visiting my friends of family college kids; they were listening to that song & smoking bongs. Room was Soo smoky , my parents were shocked. That song stuck with me and Soo did the bell bottoms !
LOL Bongs!!!
Everyone wanted one of the tall Bamboo stocks in our yard. Homemade bongs.
No kidding!!
I appreciated the classic rockers later. AC/DC Bon Scott years was my coming of age band. Oops, aren’t they heavy metal ?
AC/DC is good.
They are on my list. They are from same city as Timmy: Sydney.
They define their music as “Rock & Roll” but their songs are more Hard Rock, Blues Rock and even Heavy Metal.
That reminds me of KIss Alive album . Stoned , contained crowd indeed. Certainly not your Sex Pistol gathering!! Lol !

It’s one of my favorites of GNR.
His acoustic guitar intro in that song is best of the best.
This another one of my favorite from them.

A very good choice!
I can’t believe it! Murn loves one the greatest bands of all time: Guns N’ Roses!!! So many good songs to choose from.
Here’s a gentle love ballad. I sing it to my wife occasionally. It gets her in a certain mood…and I can still hear her b***!
🤣🤩🤣

“Gentle”…
You make me laugh so hard…..=DDD
You are so funny, IM.
Yes, I listened to almost all music genres, some of them like this GNR, Queen, Pink Floyd, Foreigner, Toto etc were inheritance from my oldest brother so actually they are not my generation but I like them. It doesn’t hurt right? …=D
I love this ballad:

What rock genre is that, Jay?
I think it’s alternative rock. They have a few good songs.
https://youtu.be/a0ul-BghOAs
They are from New York.
They define their music as ‘electronic rock, dream pop, electronica and trip hop, and have described their sound as “street beat, psych pop”.’
That’s American alternative music. People that really don’t fit in one genre or another. We have many bands like that.

No, they aren’t all females, but they seem to fall into this genre more.

That’s a local band for me.
No, they are not a local band, they are international band.
This group received a Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.
The station I listen to claims to be the first station to play their music. They play local music once an hour. They were here before the world knew them.
They’ve been known internationally.
